Player News
Clayton Stoner
Ducks' Stoner Scores Game Winner Sunday
Clayton Stoner, D, ANA
12:29 PM
News: Clayton Stoner scored the game winner in the third period of Sunday night's clash in Dallas.
Analysis: Not normally known for his goal-scoring prowess, the defenseman was able to score his first goal in nearly a full calendar year. Seeing as how his career total is now at five goals and 33 assists, don't expect the 30-year old to suddenly become fantasy viable.

Corey Perry
Ducks' Perry Hits Scoresheet Twice In Win Sunday
Corey Perry, RW, ANA
12:22 PM
News: Corey Perry tallied a goal and an assist in Sunday's win over the Stars.
Analysis: The points give Corey Perry 45 points on the season. Despite missing 15 of his team's 64 games this season, Perry is only second to linemate Ryan Getzlaf in team scoring.

Ryan Getzlaf
Ducks' Getzlaf Records Milestone Marker
Ryan Getzlaf, C, ANA
12:16 PM
News: Ryan Getzlaf tied Paul Kariya for second on the Ducks' all-time scoring list with a goal and an assist Sunday in Dallas.
Analysis: This gives Ryan Getzlaf 669 points in 693 career games for the Ducks. He now has 61 points in 61 games this season, good enough for eighth place in NHL scoring.

John Gibson
Gibson Shines For Ducks In Win Over Stars
John Gibson, G, ANA
12:05 PM
News: John Gibson stopped 39-of-40 shots faced Sunday night in Dallas.
Analysis: This was John Gibson's fifth win in his last six starts, as it appears that both him and his team have worked their way out of a slump. However, it appears that Gibson will be relegated to backup duties very soon with regular starter Frederik Andersen fully recovered from a head/neck injury. Keep a close eye on Gibson's status for upcoming games.

Cory Conacher
Canucks Acquire Conacher
Cory Conacher, LW, NYI
11:18 AM
News: The Canucks acquired Cory Conacher from the Islanders on Monday in exchange for Dustin Jeffrey, Newsday's Arthur Staple reports.
Analysis: Cory Conacher, who has recorded three points in 15 NHL games this season, provides the Canucks' organization with added depth up front, though at this stage it's unclear if he'll initially work with the big club or join the team's AHL affiliate in Utica.

Dustin Jeffrey
Canucks Deal Jeffrey To Islanders
Dustin Jeffrey, C, VAN
11:17 AM
News: Dustin Jeffrey was traded to the Islanders on Monday in exchange for AHL forward Cory Conacher, Arthur Staple of Newsday reports.
Analysis: The Islanders and Canucks will exchange spare minor-league parts, with Conacher probably possessing the more upside of the two players. The 27-year-old Dustin Jeffrey has thrived as a scorer this season with AHL Utica, but hasn't shown much offensive ability over 124 career games at the NHL level with the Penguins and Stars, managing only 17 goals and 14 assists. He'll likely report to AHL Bridgeport with his new organization.

Curtis Glencross
Caps Glencross Expected To Start On Second Line
Curtis Glencross, LW, WAS
11:13 AM
News: Curtis Glencross practiced with Evgeny Kuznetsov and Troy Brouwer on the team's second line during Monday's practice, Alex Prewitt of The Washington Post reports.
Analysis: After being acquired from the Flames over the weekend for a pair of 2015 draft choices, the Saskatchewan native appears poised to start on the team's second line. While this may change, speculation that Curtis Glencross was acquired to play with Alex Ovechkin and Nicklas Backstrom on the top line has yet to be justified, but keep an eye on this situation moving forward, as the streaky forward has some sleeper value in the closing weeks of the season.

Freddie Hamilton
Sharks Deal Hamilton To Avs
Freddie Hamilton, C, SJ
11:12 AM
News: Freddie Hamilton was traded to the Avalanche on Monday in exchange for defenseman Karl Stollery.
Analysis: Freddie Hamilton saw action in 11 games with the Sharks last season and had appeared in one game with the parent club in 2014-15. The 23-year-old has shown some scoring ability in the minors with 30 points in 52 games for AHL Worcester this season, but it doesn't look as though he'll immediately be in line for a promotion to the parent club with his new organization. Instead, look for him to report to AHL Lake Erie, where he'll function as organizational depth.

Alex Stalock
Sharks' Stalock To Start Monday
Alex Stalock, G, SJ
11:08 AM
News: Alex Stalock will start between the pipes against the Canadiens, Kevin Kurz of CSN Bay Area reports.
Analysis: Alex Stalock will receive a rare start in net, with his last start coming Feb. 17 in which he allowed five goals on 37 shots. With back-to-back games for the Sharks on tap, Stalock will provide some relief Monday against the Canadiens, while Niemi will get the day off before presumably returning to the net Tuesday against the Canucks.

Karl Stollery
Avs Deal Stollery To Sharks
Karl Stollery, D, COL
11:07 AM
News: Karl Stollery was traded to the Sharks on Monday in exchange for forward Freddie Hamilton.
Analysis: Karl Stollery was called up by the Avalanche ahead of their last game Saturday against the Wild, but he's expected to be assigned to AHL Worcester with his new squad. The 27-year-old will function as organizational depth on the blue line, with little chance at receiving a long-term look with the parent club.
