Tomas Hertl, C, SJ
11:53 AM
News: The Sharks have recalled Tomas Hertl from AHL Worcester, the team's official site reports.
Analysis: Tomas Hertl, who recorded two assists in two games during his stint with Worcester, returns to the Sharks following the NHL All-Star break with 17 points in 48 games with the big club to his credit this season.

Mike Smith
Coyotes' Smith Projected To Start Tuesday
Mike Smith, G, ARI
11:50 AM
News: Mike Smith is projected to start Tuesday's game against the Flyers, Sarah McLellan of the Arizona Republic reports.
Analysis: After trading Devan Dubnyk to the Wild prior to the All-Star break, the Coyotes effectively committed to Mike Smith as their No. 1 goalie for the rest of the season. While his usage should be heavier than most other netminders the rest of the way, it will be hard for fantasy owners to extract much value from Smith while he sits on a sub-.900 save percentage for the season. Ideally, he should be kept out of active lineups until he starts to notice some sustained success.

Tommy Wingels
Sharks' Wingels Still Sidelined
Tommy Wingels, C, SJ
11:46 AM
News: Tommy Wingels, who suffered a broken finger in his left hand on Jan. 19, hopes to return to action in three-to-four weeks, csnbayarea.com reports.
Analysis: Per the report, Tommy Wingels, who has "an apparent break in his pinkie finger" underwent a procedure on Jan. 20 to address the issue, with a specific timetable for his return not yet outlined. "I don't have an exact time frame," Wingels indicated. "It's when my hand heals, when I feel comfortable playing with it, and when I can get the strength back that will determine when I feel I'm ready to play."

Justin Braun
Sharks' Braun Sidelined By Broken Finger
Justin Braun, D, SJ
11:40 AM
News: Justin Braun (finger) will miss the next four-to-six weeks, csnbayarea.com reports.
Analysis: Justin Braun, who suffered a broken finger on his left hand while blocking a shot back on Jan. 19, skated on Tuesday, but he'll need to wait until his finger heals up fully before rejoining the Sharks' lineup.

Lubomir Visnovsky
Isles' Visnovsky (Upper Body) Not Back In Tuesday
Lubomir Visnovsky, D, NYI
11:40 AM
News: Lubomir Visnovsky (upper body) will not play Tuesday against the Rangers.
Analysis: It sounded like Lubomir Visnovsky would be ready to play after he resumed practicing with the team last week, but evidently, the Islanders feel more comfortable about giving him some additional time off to recover. If he continues to skate without any setbacks over the next two days, he could draw back in the lineup Thursday versus the Bruins.

Tanner Glass
Rangers' Glass (Upper Body) Skating
Tanner Glass, LW, NYR
11:13 AM
News: Tanner Glass (upper body) was present for the Rangers' morning skate Tuesday, Andrew Gross of The Record reports.
Analysis: Tanner Glass missed the Rangers' final two games before the All-Star break with the injury, and while it seems like he might be healthy enough to play at this juncture, it's unknown if he'll draw back into lineup Tuesday against the Islanders. The winger had previously been a healthy scratch during certain points in January, so he's no guarantee to be a regular skater for the Rangers.

Chris Kreider
Rangers' Kreider Set To Play Tuesday
Chris Kreider, LW, NYR
11:07 AM
News: Chris Kreider, who missed Monday's practice with an illness, was back on the ice for Tuesday's morning skate, Andrew Gross of The Record reports.
Analysis: Chris Kreider's participation likely ensures that he'll be in the lineup as the Rangers kick off the second half in a matchup with the Islanders. Expect him to skate on the second line with Derek Stepan and Martin St. Louis.

Jiri Hudler
Flames' Hudler Iffy For Tuesday
Jiri Hudler, LW, CGY
10:59 AM
News: Jiri Hudler is feeling under the weather and will be a game-time decision for Tuesday's game against the Sabres, Pat Steinberg of Sportsnet 960 reports.
Analysis: Per the Flames' official site, coach Bob Hartley noted that if Jiri Hudler is unable to play Tuesday, either Sven Baertschi or David Wolf would be in line to fill in for Hudler.
