Player News
T.J. Oshie
Blues' Oshie (Upper Body) Will Play In Game 2
T.J. Oshie, RW, STL
12:03 AM
News: T.J. Oshie (upper body) is participating in pregame warmups and will play in Saturday's Game 2 against the Blackhawks, NHL.com reports.
Analysis: T.J. Oshie was considered questionable to play heading into Saturday after missing Game 1 with an upper-body injury. He skated prior to the game and will be in the lineup Saturday afternoon.

Ondrej Palat
Bolts' Palat (Upper Body): Confident For Sunday
Ondrej Palat, LW, TB
4/19/2014
News: Ondrej Palat (upper body) is confident he'll return to action Sunday for Game 3, reports the Tampa Tribune.
Analysis: "I feel good," Ondrej Palat said after Saturday's practice. He wouldn't go so far as to commit to Sunday, but he was clearly buoyed by his workout.

Sidney Crosby
Pens' Crosby Gets Two Assists
Sidney Crosby, C, PIT
4/19/2014
News: Sidney Crosby delivered two assists in Saturday's 4-3, double-OT loss to Columbus.
Analysis: That gives him three helpers this postseason. He's still seeing a lot of Brandon Dubinsky and that means his possible scoring lanes will be narrow. Very narrow.

Marc-Andre Fleury
Pens' Fleury: 41 Saves In 2OT Loss
Marc-Andre Fleury, G, PIT
4/19/2014
News: Marc-Andre Fleury made 41 saves in Saturday's double overtime loss to Columbus. He allowed four goals.
Analysis: He may often be criticized, but this loss wasn't on him. The winner came on the third shot in a sequence from in tight -- he was great on the first two, but he can't be perfect. Too bad his mates didn't get rid of those rebounds.

Sergei Bobrovsky
Bob The Goalie Gets Columbus' First Playoff Win
Sergei Bobrovsky, G, CLB
4/19/2014
News: Sergei Bobrovsky made 39 saves in Saturday's double-OT win over the Penguins.
Analysis: He goes into the record books as the guy who backstopped the team to its first-ever postseason win.

Ryan Johansen
Jackets' Johansen: Goal And Assist In Win
Ryan Johansen, C, CLB
4/19/2014
News: Ryan Johansen scored a goal and added an assist in Saturday's double-OT win over Pittsburgh in Game 2 of their opening-round series.
Analysis: His outstanding season continues. This guy is going to be dominant in the way Ryan Getzlaf is dominant.

Matt Calvert
Jackets' Calvert: Two Goals, First Star
Matt Calvert, LW, CLB
4/19/2014
News: Matt Calvert was on fire Saturday, scoring while shorthanded and then netting the winner in double-OT in a 4-3 victory over Pittsburgh.
Analysis: Deservedly, he was named the game's first star. His upside is limited, but he's proving to be clutch.

Michal Rozsival
Hawks' Rozsival Breaks Playoff Goal Drought
Michal Rozsival, D, CHI
4/19/2014
News: Michal Rozsival scored his first postseason goal since the 2007-08 season on Saturday when he gave the Blackhawks a 3-2 lead against the Blues.
Analysis: At the time in the 2007-08 season, Michal Rozsival was with the New York Rangers. He's had plenty of chances, especially with the Blackhawks last season when they went on to win the Stanley Cup. Rozsival made the most of his shots on Saturday since he only had two for the game.

Ryan Miller
Blues' Miller: Bends But Does Not Break In Win
Ryan Miller, G, STL
4/19/2014
News: Ryan Miller made 25 saves in Saturday's 4-3 OT win over Chicago.
Analysis: He was a bit shaky late in the second and early in the third, allowing three goals in just a shade over nine minutes. But he was good enough to win and that's all that mattered.

Corey Crawford
Hawks' Crawford: 27 Saves In OT Loss
Corey Crawford, G, CHI
4/19/2014
News: Corey Crawford made 27 saves in Saturday's 4-3 OT loss in Game 2 of the opening-round series against the Blues.
Analysis: The winner came on a remarkably screened shot that somehow made it through a forest of legs in front and snuck between his pads. He was livid in the dressing room after the game and tossed his equipment around the locker room before meeting with reporters.
