Player News
Clayton Stoner
Ducks' Stoner Scores Game Winner Sunday
Clayton Stoner, D, ANA
12:29 PM
News: Clayton Stoner scored the game winner in the third period of Sunday night's clash in Dallas.
Analysis: Not normally known for his goal-scoring prowess, the defenseman was able to score his first goal in nearly a full calendar year. Seeing as how his career total is now at five goals and 33 assists, don't expect the 30-year old to suddenly become fantasy viable.

Corey Perry
Ducks' Perry Hits Scoresheet Twice In Win Sunday
Corey Perry, RW, ANA
12:22 PM
News: Corey Perry tallied a goal and an assist in Sunday's win over the Stars.
Analysis: The points give Corey Perry 45 points on the season. Despite missing 15 of his team's 64 games this season, Perry is only second to linemate Ryan Getzlaf in team scoring.

Ryan Getzlaf
Ducks' Getzlaf Records Milestone Marker
Ryan Getzlaf, C, ANA
12:16 PM
News: Ryan Getzlaf tied Paul Kariya for second on the Ducks' all-time scoring list with a goal and an assist Sunday in Dallas.
Analysis: This gives Ryan Getzlaf 669 points in 693 career games for the Ducks. He now has 61 points in 61 games this season, good enough for eighth place in NHL scoring.

John Gibson
Gibson Shines For Ducks In Win Over Stars
John Gibson, G, ANA
12:05 PM
News: John Gibson stopped 39-of-40 shots faced Sunday night in Dallas.
Analysis: This was John Gibson's fifth win in his last six starts, as it appears that both him and his team have worked their way out of a slump. However, it appears that Gibson will be relegated to backup duties very soon with regular starter Frederik Andersen fully recovered from a head/neck injury. Keep a close eye on Gibson's status for upcoming games.

Petteri Lindbohm
Blues' Lindbohm Scores In Loss
Petteri Lindbohm, D, STL
6:57 AM
News: Petteri Lindbohm scored his second goal Sunday in a 6-5 shootout loss to Vancouver. He took two shots and added three hits and two blocks in the contest.
Analysis: Petteri Lindbohm has seen steady minutes since drawing back into the lineup on February 20. He is a defensive minded player so he may not see the score sheet often, but he averaging nearly a blocked shot per game, which will have some value is deeper leagues.

Alex Pietrangelo
Blues' Pietrangelo Scores In Loss
Alex Pietrangelo, D, STL
6:51 AM
News: Alex Pietrangelo scored his sixth of the season Sunday in a 6-5 shootout loss to the Canucks. He took two PIM, two shots and added a blocked shot on the night.
Analysis: Alex Pietrangelo is plugging along playing heavy minutes and contributing here and there on offense for the Blues. There was some thought that he might take off with teammate Kevin Shattenkirk down due to injury, but it hasn't happened. Still, the 24-year-old should surpass 40 points and finish in the top-25 scorers among defensemen, which is a good season by most standards.

Patrick Eaves
Stars' Eaves Nabs Goal In Return
Patrick Eaves, RW, DAL
6:47 AM
News: Patrick Eaves (concussion) nabbed a goal in his return to action Sunday against the Ducks.
Analysis: Patrick Eaves was activated from injured reserve ahead of Sunday's game after missing a little over two weeks of action. With Erik Cole shipped to the Red Wings prior to Sunday's game, an opportunity could exist for Eaves to slide back into a top-six role for the Stars.

Dmitrij Jaskin
Blues' Jaskin Scores In Loss
Dmitrij Jaskin, RW, STL
6:45 AM
News: Dmitrij Jaskin scored his 11th goal of the season on the power play Sunday in a 6-5 loss to Vancouver. He was minus-1, took seven shots and added three hits in the contest.
Analysis: Dmitrij Jaskin is emerging as a an offensive weapon for the Blues (seven of his 11 goals have come since February 1) and getting rewarded with better assignments. His overall ice time and his time on the power play have increased steadily resulting in more than 1:20 of ice with the man advantage each of the last four games. He remains a depth guy in most fantasy leagues, but he is second on the Blues in goals per 60 minutes played and could earn more ice time with his recent performance.

Jhonas Enroth
Stars' Enroth Falls To Ducks
Jhonas Enroth, G, DAL
6:45 AM
News: Jhonas Enroth stopped 19 of 22 shots in Sunday's 3-1 loss to the Ducks.
Analysis: It was believed that Jhonas Enroth would challenge Kari Lehtonen for No. 1 goalie duties upon his acquisition from Buffalo on Feb. 11, but he's been simply abysmal since arriving in Dallas. Over five appearances, Enroth has gone 0-4-0 with a 3.61 GAA and .867 save percentage. Enroth should see more work than most backup goalies out there, but hardly makes for an inspiring fantasy option at this time.

Korbinian Holzer
Leafs' Holzer Has Concussion
Korbinian Holzer, D, TOR
6:45 AM
News: Korbinian Holzer has been diagnosed with a concussion, and he did not travel with the team to Florida, Mark Masters of TSN reports.
Analysis: Tim Erixon is expected to chew up the extra ice time on the Leafs' blue line in Korbinian Holzer's absence. For now, an IR move hasn't been made, but given the nature of the injury, Holzer could miss additional time.
