Tobias Enstrom
Jets' Enstrom Sets Up Two Goals In Loss
Tobias Enstrom, D, WPG
12:07 PM
News: Tobias Enstrom assisted on both of the Jets' two goals in Friday's loss to Tampa Bay.
Analysis: Tobias Enstrom now has six points (all assists) in seven games this season, to go with a minus-1 rating. Playing the point on the top power-play unit and averaging 23:49 of ice time per game, Enstrom will continue to produce offense. After a somewhat disappointing 30-point season in 2013-14, expect Enstrom to return to the 40-50 point range in 2014-15.

Michael Blunden
Bolts Recall Blunden
Michael Blunden, RW, TB
8:53 AM
News: The Lightning recalled Michael Blunden from AHL Syracuse on Saturday.
Analysis: Michael Blunden has two goals and an assist in through five games with AHL Syracuse this season, and should provide a physical presence for the Lightning against the Wild.

Matt Hendricks
Oilers' Hendricks Bags Second Goal
Matt Hendricks, C, EDM
8:52 AM
News: Matt Hendricks tallied his second goal of the season Friday against the Hurricanes.
Analysis: The goal was an unassisted empty-netter with 1:27 remaining in the contest, so there's no need to get excited about Matt Hendricks potentially adding some more offense to his game. The fourth-liner will provide most of his value in the form of hits, a category in which he leads the Oilers with 31.

Daniel Sedin
Canucks' D.Sedin Nets Goal And Assist In Loss
Daniel Sedin, LW, VAN
8:49 AM
News: Daniel Sedin netted a goal and an assist in Friday's loss to the Avalanche.
Analysis: It was a horrible outing for the Canucks, but Daniel Sedin managed to be productive, also recording six shots on goal. He has looked great so far this season, sitting fifth in league scoring with two goals and 10 points in seven games. Keep rolling him, as he should continue to produce on a dynamic first line also featuring his brother Henrik and Radim Vrbata.

Nikita Nikitin
Oilers' Nikitin Finishes Plus-4 Friday
Nikita Nikitin, D, EDM
8:48 AM
News: Nikita Nikitin dished out an assist and finished with a plus-4 rating in Friday's win over the Hurricanes.
Analysis: Nikita Nikitin was fortunate to be on the ice for the majority of the Oilers' third-period scoring binge, but it will be tough for him to finish on the positive side of the plus/minus ledger most nights. The winless Hurricanes can't compete with anybody right now, which can allow nondescript blueliners like Nikitin to churn out quality production on any given night.

Ryan Nugent-Hopkins
Oilers' Nugent-Hopkins: Three-Game Goal Streak
Ryan Nugent-Hopkins, C, EDM
8:44 AM
News: Ryan Nugent-Hopkins tallied a goal for the third straight game Friday against the Hurricanes.
Analysis: While the recent scoring binge has been a boon to Ryan Nugent-Hopkins' fantasy owners, the fact that he's registered the three tallies on a total of four shots on goal suggests he might be benefiting from some puck luck. The run of point production figures to slow down eventually, but Nugent-Hopkins still looks primed for another 50-point season.

Eddie Lack
Canucks' Lack Suffers Another Loss
Eddie Lack, G, VAN
8:44 AM
News: Eddie Lack gave up seven goals on 48 shots in Friday's loss to Colorado.
Analysis: Eddie Lack hasn't exactly impressed in two starts this season, losing both games and surrendering a combined 11 goals in that span. After starter Ryan Miller put on a dominant performance Thursday, it's expected Lack will return to his seat on the bench in the next upcoming games. The 26-year-old Swede hasn't been good enough to challenge Miller for ice time, so expect nothing to change on the Canucks' goaltending depth chart for the time being.

Henrik Lundqvist
Rangers' Lundqvist Starting Saturday
Henrik Lundqvist, G, NYR
8:43 AM
News: Henrik Lundqvist will start in net Saturday against the Canadiens, Andrew Gross of the Bergen Record reports.
Analysis: Henrik Lundqvist has been on a roll lately, going 3-0-0 and allowing just four goals in his last three starts. He should be back in net Monday as well when the Wild come to town.

Leon Draisaitl
Oilers' Draisaitl Grabs First Career Goal
Leon Draisaitl, C, EDM
8:38 AM
News: Leon Draisaitl tallied his first career goal in Friday's 6-3 victory over the Hurricanes.
Analysis: The goal would go down as the game-winner on the night, as Leon Draisaitl scooped up his own rebound and backhanded the puck into the net to give the Oilers a 4-3 lead with 7:05 left in the contest. Draisaitl has looked raw for the most part in his eight contests with the Oilers, but he's begun to hit his stride over the last two games, contributing two points and seven shots on goal. After Draisaitl plays his next game Monday against the Habs, the Oilers will have a tough decision to make in choosing to either keep the rookie with the parent club for the entire season, or send him down to his junior team, WHL Prince Albert.

Semyon Varlamov
Avs' Varlamov Makes 26 Saves For First Win
Semyon Varlamov, G, COL
8:35 AM
News: Semyon Varlamov made 26 saves on 29 shots in Friday's win over the Canucks.
Analysis: It was the first win of the season for Semyon Varlamov, who got loads of offensive support in the blowout victory. Varlamov is an elite goaltender, and if the young Avalanche team in front of him can get going, expect him to rack up the wins -- much like he did last season.
