Player News
Cory Conacher
Sens' Conacher Likely Out Wednesday
Cory Conacher, LW, OTT
8:58 AM
News: Cory Conacher is expected to be a healthy scratch for Wednesday's Game 4.
Analysis: If Cory Conacher does sit, Mark Stone will take his place alongside Jason Spezza and Milan Michalek on the Sens' top line. Stone recorded a line of 15/23/38 in 54 games with AHL Binghamton this season, but failed to scratch the scoresheet in four NHL contests.

Johnny Boychuk
Bruins' Boychuk Scores Again
Johnny Boychuk, D, BOS
8:38 AM
News: Johnny Boychuk scored a goal in Tuesday's 2-1 win over the Rangers.
Analysis: Johnny Boychuk, who had just one goal and six points in 44 regular season games, now has four goals in 10 playoff contests to date, which gives him 10 goals in 55 career postseason games overall. While Boychuk earns most of his keep with his rugged presence -- he leads the playoffs with 37 blocked shots and is tied for fifth with 41 hits -- on the Bruins' blueline, it's not a complete fluke that he has found a scoring touch, given that he possesses a booming shot.

Derek Stepan
Stepan Held Scoreless In Rangers' Loss
Derek Stepan, C, NYR
8:35 AM
News: Derek Stepan was held scoreless despite a team-high five shots on goal in Tuesday's 2-1 to Boston
Analysis: After having a breakout year (44 points in 48 games) during the lockout shortened regular season, Derek Stepan has been held in check during the playoffs, registering a plus-3 and just three goals in 10 games.

Torey Krug
Bruins' Krug Makes A Case To Stay In Lineup
Torey Krug, D, BOS
8:31 AM
News: Torey Krug recorded four shots in 18:08 worth of ice time in Tuesday's 2-1 win over the Rangers.
Analysis: Though Torey Krug did not record a point in the game, as he had in his first two contest since being recalled from the AHL, he turned in a nice all-around effort Tuesday, holding his own defensively, while provided a spark to the B's attack. Unless his play tapers off, Krug figures to remain in the B's lineup, even when some of his injured veteran counterparts are healthy enough to suit up.

Henrik Lundqvist
Rangers' Lundqvist Sharp In Loss
Henrik Lundqvist, G, NYR
8:30 AM
News: Henrik Lundqvist made 32 saves in Tuesday's 2-1 loss to Boston.
Analysis: After yielding five goals in Sunday's loss, Lundqvsit bounced back with a sharp performance in the loss. He stopped several breakaway's early to keep the game tied after the first 20 minutes. Unfortunately, a bad bounce led to the Rangers ultimate demise in game 3 and they now face elimination Thursday night.

Eric Gryba
Sens' Gryba Skates
Eric Gryba, D, OTT
8:29 AM
News: Eric Gryba (upper body) skated with the team Wednesday, Ian Mendes of Sportsnet reports.
Analysis: The morning skate marked the first time since Game 1 of their second-round series with the Penguins that Eric Gryba was on the ice, but there was no indication he will be in the lineup for Wednesday's Game 4.

Antti Niemi
Sharks, Niemi Tie Series
Antti Niemi, G, SJ
5/21/2013
News: Antti Niemi stopped 22 of 23 Tuesday to even the Sharks' second-round series with Los Angeles at two games apiece.
Analysis: After allowing six goals in the two games in Los Angeles to start the series, Antti Niemi's got consecutive one-goal outings going for him.

Brad Richards
Rangers' Richards Riding Pine
Brad Richards, C, NYR
5/21/2013
News: Brad Richards skated just 8:10 over 10 shifts in Tuesday's Game 3 loss to Boston.
Analysis: He wasn't hurt; the ineffective Brad Richards just spent a lot of time on the bench. He's been absolutely horrid -- and, worse, uninvolved -- in the playoffs following a disappointing regular season, and could be playing his way out of New York. At this point, the best news about Richards would be that he's been playing through an injury.

Daniel Paille
Paille Keys Bruins' Offense In Game 3
Daniel Paille, LW, BOS
5/21/2013
News: Daniel Paille assisted on Boston's first goal and scored the second in Tuesday's 2-1 Game 3 win over the Rangers.
Analysis: The fourth line of Daniel Paille, Shawn Thornton and Gregory Campbell has been dominant along the boards in this series, and this time it produced some offense. Most often, though, Paille's contributions don't show up in the box score.

Tuukka Rask
Bruins' Rask Wins Again In Game 3
Tuukka Rask, G, BOS
5/21/2013
News: Tuukka Rask stopped 23 of 24 shots Tuesday to give Boston a 3-0 lead over the Rangers in their Eastern Conference Semifinal series.
Analysis: Though Tuukka Rask wasn't challenged very often in this one, he was sharp against the Rangers' few quality opportunities. He seems to be getting better and better as he goes along -- a scary sign for the opposition.
