Player News
Chris Conner
Conner Back With Penguins
Chris Conner, RW, PIT
8:27 AM
News: The Penguins have recalled Chris Conner (foot) from his conditioning assignment with AHL Wilkes-Barre/Scranton, the team's official site reports.
Analysis: Chris Conner last saw action with the Penguins back on Dec. 31, but he's back with the big club to provide added depth up front as the team's playoff series against the Blue Jackets progresses.

Nick Foligno
Blue Jackets' Foligno Back In Lineup
Nick Foligno, LW, CLB
8:20 AM
News: Nick Foligno (knee) will play Monday against the Penguins, Shelly Anderson of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reports.
Analysis: Based on the team's morning skate, Nick Foligno, who last suited up on April 3, figures to work Monday night on a line with Artem Anisimov and R.J. Umberger.

Fedor Tyutin
Blue Jackets' Tyutin Out On Monday
Fedor Tyutin, D, CLB
8:14 AM
News: Fedor Tyutin (undisclosed injury) won't play Monday against the Penguins, NHL.com reports.
Analysis: Fedor Tyutin, who was forced out of Game 2 with an undisclosed injury, will be replaced on the Blue Jackets' blueline on Monday by Dalton Prout.

Darcy Kuemper
Wild Turn To Kuemper On Monday
Darcy Kuemper, G, MIN
7:45 AM
News: Darcy Kuemper will start Monday's game against the Avalanche.
Analysis: Darcy Kuemper, who took over for Ilya Bryzgalov in Saturday's loss to the Avs, appears past his upper body injury and will be making his first start for the team since March 27, with the Wild down 2-0 in their first round playoff series.

Andrew Desjardins
Sharks' Desjardins Adds A Pair Of Assists
Andrew Desjardins, C, SJ
6:02 AM
News: Andrew Desjardins and the Sharks' fourth line jumpstarted a seven-goal run on a pair of goals that were both assisted by Desjardins in a Game 2 win over LA.
Analysis: Andrew Desjardins came into the series with two goals and no assists through 18 career playoff games. His two helpers is a good start, though don't expect a breakout postseason. His role is to be a grinder and create energy for his team. Most nights that's going to come in the form of being a physical presence rather than creating offense.

Patrick Marleau
Sharks' Marleau Scores In Back-To-Back Games
Patrick Marleau, C, SJ
5:58 AM
News: Patrick Marleau had a goal and an assist in a 7-2 win over LA in Game 2.
Analysis: Patrick Marleau has goals in back-to-back games and continues to be a clutch player for the Sharks.

Jake Muzzin
Muzzin Nets Second Goal In Kings' Loss
Jake Muzzin, D, LA
5:45 AM
News: Jake Muzzin picked up his second goal of the playoffs in a 7-2 loss to San Jose on Sunday.
Analysis: Jake Muzzin struggled offensively for much of the season but has been one of the few bright spots in the Kings' opening round series.

Brendan Gallagher
Habs' Gallagher Nets Two Points
Brendan Gallagher, RW, MON
4:38 AM
News: Brendan Gallagher had a goal and an assist in Sunday's 3-2 win over Tampa Bay in the third game of their opening-round playoff series. He finished at plus-2 in 12:40.
Analysis: Brendan Gallagher finished off a pretty play by defenseman P.K. Subban to give Montreal what proved to be the winning goal in the game. He has points in all three games in the series.

P.K. Subban
Habs' Subban Sets Up Game Winner
P.K. Subban, D, MON
4:32 AM
News: P.K. Subban had two assists, including one on Brendan Gallagher's game-winning goal, in Sunday's 3-2 win over the Lightning in the third game of their playoff series.
Analysis: P.K. Subban finished with a game-high 28:03 of ice time and was plus-2. His assist on the Gallagher goal was the prettiest play of the game, perhaps the series, and is a reminder of Subban's sometimes-sublime play for the Canadiens.

Raffi Torres
Sharks' Torres Scores Again
Raffi Torres, LW, SJ
4:17 AM
News: Raffi Torres scored, kickstarting a seven-goal rally, in a Game 2 win over LA.
Analysis: Raffi Torres, who all told has played seven games this season, has been incredible, netting five goals and two assists in very limited time. It'd be tough to find someone who won't say that Torres should regress to the mean — after all his shooting percentage in this series is 100% — but analysts have been saying that he'll regress since his first game back from injury this season. He should regress, but on the other hand, he's hot right now.
