Tobias Enstrom
Jets' Enstrom Sets Up Two Goals In Loss
Tobias Enstrom, D, WPG
12:07 PM
News: Tobias Enstrom assisted on both of the Jets' two goals in Friday's loss to Tampa Bay.
Analysis: Tobias Enstrom now has six points (all assists) in seven games this season, to go with a minus-1 rating. Playing the point on the top power-play unit and averaging 23:49 of ice time per game, Enstrom will continue to produce offense. After a somewhat disappointing 30-point season in 2013-14, expect Enstrom to return to the 40-50 point range in 2014-15.

Sergei Bobrovsky
Jackets' Bobrovsky Stumbles Friday
Sergei Bobrovsky, G, CLB
9:19 AM
News: Sergei Bobrovsky stopped 30 of 33 shot attempts in Friday's loss to the Ducks.
Analysis: The Blue Jackets' westward road swing hasn't been kind thus far to Sergei Bobrovsky, as he's surrendered a total of seven goals on back-to-back nights against the Sharks and Ducks, though he was able to escape with a win against San Jose. With a meeting with the reigning Stanley Cup champs in Los Angeles coming up Sunday to conclude the trip, Bobrovsky could be in for yet another tough outing.

John Gibson
Gibson Keeps Ducks Rolling Friday
John Gibson, G, ANA
9:14 AM
News: John Gibson turned away 16 of 17 shots Friday against the Blue Jackets, extending the Ducks' winning streak to seven games in the process.
Analysis: A sterling performance from his defense didn't allow John Gibson to see much work in this one, but he made the saves he needed to steer the Ducks to the win column. The steady outing was much-needed for Gibson after he was rocked for six goals in the opener against the Penguins, but it won't be enough for him to dramatically cut into Frederik Andersen's workload. After all, it was Andersen who had reeled off six straight wins to set the streak in motion in the first place.

Dennis Seidenberg
Bruins Counting On Seidenberg
Dennis Seidenberg, D, BOS
9:14 AM
News: With Zdeno Chara out, Dennis Seidenberg joined Dougie Hamilton on the Bruins' top defensive pairing in Friday's practice, the Boston Globe reports.
Analysis: Dennis Seidenberg, who is bouncing back from surgery that he underwent in early January to repair an ACL/MCL injury, is slowly rounding into form and with Chara out 4-6 weeks, he'll be counted on heavily to provide a shut-down presence in the coming weeks. That said, in his role as a rugged and defensively-sound defenseman for the B's, he's not likely to be much of a fantasy factor. To date, Seidenberg has yet to record a point in nine games.

Dougie Hamilton
Bruins' Hamilton Pairs With Seidenberg
Dougie Hamilton, D, BOS
9:07 AM
News: With Zdeno Chara out, Dennis Seidenberg joined Dougie Hamilton on the Bruins' top defensive pairing in Friday's practice, the Boston Globe reports.
Analysis: Per the Boston Herald, Dougie Hamilton took a shot off his hand during the session, but appears to be okay in advance of Saturday's game against the Maple Leafs. To date, Hamilton has notched two points in nine games, but in Chara's absence, he figures to be counted on heavily by the Bruins in the coming weeks, with an uptick in production plausible.

Jeff Skinner
Hurricanes' Skinner Finds Net For First Point
Jeff Skinner, LW, CAR
9:05 AM
News: Jeff Skinner tallied his first point of the season on a second-period goal Friday against the Oilers.
Analysis: Sidelined for the four games earlier in the season with a concussion, Jeff Skinner had struggled to a minus-4 rating over his first two games back, before righting the ship Friday. The collective stink of the Hurricanes, the league's only winless team, could ravage his plus/minus rating, but Skinner should be on track for another 50-point campaign if health permits.

Jonathan Marchessault
Bolts Recall Marchessault
Jonathan Marchessault, C, TB
9:02 AM
News: The Lightning recalled Jonathan Marchessault from AHL Syracuse on Saturday.
Analysis: Jonathan Marchessault has racked up two goals and four assists through five games with AHL Syracuse, and will look to pick up his first points of the season Saturday against the Wild if he's in the lineup.

Jay Harrison
Hurricanes' Harrison Provides Two Points Friday
Jay Harrison, D, CAR
9:00 AM
News: Jay Harrison provided a goal and assist in Friday's loss to the Oilers.
Analysis: After being held out of the lineup as a healthy scratch in the Hurricanes' previous game, Jay Harrison rebounded with his most productive showing of the season. In addition to the pair of points, he also contributed three blocked shots, two hits and two penalty minutes over his 20:08 of action. His third-period goal tied the game with 12 minutes remaining, but the winless Hurricanes were unable to prevail.

Michael Blunden
Bolts Recall Blunden
Michael Blunden, RW, TB
8:53 AM
News: The Lightning recalled Michael Blunden from AHL Syracuse on Saturday.
Analysis: Michael Blunden has two goals and an assist in through five games with AHL Syracuse this season, and should provide a physical presence for the Lightning against the Wild.

Matt Hendricks
Oilers' Hendricks Bags Second Goal
Matt Hendricks, C, EDM
8:52 AM
News: Matt Hendricks tallied his second goal of the season Friday against the Hurricanes.
Analysis: The goal was an unassisted empty-netter with 1:27 remaining in the contest, so there's no need to get excited about Matt Hendricks potentially adding some more offense to his game. The fourth-liner will provide most of his value in the form of hits, a category in which he leads the Oilers with 31.
