Fantasy Analysis
The Bruins acquired defensemen Mike Mottau and Greg Zanon at the NHL trade deadline, moves that bolstered the team's blue line depth, but for now at least, Andrew Bodnarchuk has been squeezed out of the mix. (Updated 02/27/2012).
With just one goal and 16 points for AHL Providence this past season in 75 games, there's not a ton of buzz surrounding Bodnarchuk's fantasy prospects at the NHL level. He does project as a puck-moving blueliner, but there's a bit of a logjam in terms of blueline prospects in the B's organization and Bodnarchuk will need to have a strong camp to distinguish himself enough to stick with the big club.
