Fantasy Analysis
Bryan Little has certainly had an offensively productive season, especially given the time he missed to injury from the middle of December through early January. Nonetheless, his strong scoring totals and impressive ice time come with a certain territory; the 24 year-old is now 10 goals below even in the plus-minus column. (Updated 04/03/2012).
04/03/2012 22:45 Panthers fall to Jets, fail to clinch division
Andrew Ladd scored two goals, including the winner 3:12 into overtime, to give the Winnipeg Jets a 5-4 victory over Florida that prevented the Panthers from clinching the Southeast Division title on Tuesday night.
03/28/2012 22:08 Rangers score four straight to beat Jets
Ryan Callahan and Michael Del Zotto each had a goal and an assist, and the New York Rangers moved to the top of the NHL standings with a 4-2 victory over the fading Winnipeg Jets on Wednesday night.
03/23/2012 23:46 Jets storm back to beat Capitals
Tim Stapleton scored 2:37 into overtime, and the Winnipeg Jets rallied from three goals down and kept themselves in the playoff hunt with a 4-3 victory over the rope-a-dope Washington Capitals on Friday night.
Little bounced back nicely in 2010-11, registering 18 goals, 30 assists and 48 points last year to go along with a team leading plus-11 rating. His speed and skill fit in nicely with the strength of guys like Nik Antropov and Evander Kane. He could post his second career 20-goal season this year and will probably prove to have stability in point production, as he seems settled into his role. Pick him with your hopes on increased consistency and yet still some upside for the 2011-12 season. (Updated 10/4/11)
