Krejci looks fine for Tuesday: The Boston Globe reports that Bruins C David Krejci (leg) participated in the morning skate and should play Tuesday at Buffalo.

Krejci has been a big disappointment this season, but there's still time for him to turn things around. He has 10 goals and 30 points in 53 games, and should only be starting in deeper formats for the time being.

| Krejci exploded on to the Fantasy scene last season with monster first half that saw him put up 52 points (17 G, 35 A) in 47 games before the break. He slowed down a little in February, but that didn’t stop him from leading the league with a plus-37 rating or the Bruins from signing him to a three-year, $11 million contract extension over the summer. Hip surgery in early June might force him to miss up to a month at the beginning of the season, but Krejci will still be worth drafting in the middle rounds of most drafts as a low-end starting forward. Just take into account the hip problem and the fact he we will be on a lot of people’s bust lists. (Updated 8/18/09) |
