Fantasy Analysis
Kris Versteeg will be a restricted free agent this offseason. He has played for four different teams over the past three seasons and should be in line for a nice contract after setting career highs in goals and points during the 2011-12 season. His hip injury is not expected to be a problem by the start of the 2012-13 season, but it's worth monitoring his progress to make sure that the recovery process goes as planned. (Updated 04/28/2012).

One game, two playoff berths decided. That's how it played out in Washington on Thursday night. Two playoff berths that can't be much different.
04/03/2012 22:45 Panthers fall to Jets, fail to clinch division
Andrew Ladd scored two goals, including the winner 3:12 into overtime, to give the Winnipeg Jets a 5-4 victory over Florida that prevented the Panthers from clinching the Southeast Division title on Tuesday night.
Versteeg tallied 46 points (21 G, 25 A) splitting time between the Flyers and Maple Leafs last season. The former Stanley Cup champion was acquired by trade during the offseason and will look to make himself a legitimate two-way scoring threat. Versteeg has scored at least 20 goals in three straight seasons and should not have an issue making it four straight for the offensively improved Panthers. (Updated 10/4/11)
