Fantasy Analysis
He clicked in head coach Kirk Mueller's system and could prove to be a nice value for Carolina if his development includes more time on a line with Eric Staal next season. (Updated 04/23/2012).
03/24/2012 21:57 Red Wings break six-game losing skid
Drew Miller scored with 8:25 left and the Detroit Red Wings rallied from three goals down to beat the Carolina Hurricanes 5-4 on Saturday night, snapping a six-game losing streak.
Tlusty is a well-rounded winger who should be able to help the Hurricanes on the lower lines, but only if he can finally stay healthy. Despite undergoing shoulder surgery in the offseason, the Hurricanes signed Tlusty to a one-year deal July 1, the first day of free agency; perhaps an indication that the Canes are not too concerned about his lack of durability. Either way, Tlusty should only be an option in the deepest of fantasy pools this season. (Updated 8/16/11)
