Fantasy Analysis
The speedy Rich Peverley, who played on the Bruins' third line with Chris Kelly and Jaromir Jagr on Saturday, is likely to stay in the lineup going forward thanks to his versatility, as he can play both wing and center. While he did not record any points or shots Saturday, Peverley won 10 of the 12 draws he took. (Updated 5/5/13).
05/06/2013 22:16 Bruins take Game 3, spoil return of playoffs in Toronto
The Boston Bruins spoiled the return of playoff hockey to Toronto, scoring two quick goals in the second period in a 5-2 victory against the Maple Leafs on Monday night.
Rich Peverley doesn't get a ton of ink, but his wheels and slick puck-work are underrated and valuable components in the Bruins' balanced attack. He racked up 11 goals and 42 points to go along with a plus-20 rating last season in his injury-shortened 57-game campaign. He slots in as a third-liner this coming season, but when injuries hit, the Bruins arent hesitant to have him roll with one of the teams top two lines. Overall, Peverley is a nice player that is under the radar just enough to provide sneaky fantasy value later on in drafts. (Updated 8/14/12)
