12/09/2011 01:21 Wild stay hot, win sixth straight on road
Matt Hackett made 42 saves in his first NHL start and the Minnesota Wild set a franchise record with their sixth straight road victory, beating the Los Angeles Kings 4-2 on Thursday night.
Almond, a prospect of the Wild, racked up 15 goals, 19 assists and 124 penalty minutes with AHL Houston in 2010-11. He has good speed and is fearless on the ice, but fantasy owners won't go nuts over Almond until he can arrive in the NHL with a full-time job. (Updated 8/16/11)
