Kings cut ties with four prospects: The Sports Xchange reports The Kings, one June 1, cut ties with four prospects by choosing not to offer them contracts for the 2009-10 season. Forwards Bryan Cameron and Matt Fillier and defenseman Josh Kidd became free agents and goalie Linden Rowat became eligible to re-enter the NHL Draft.

Cameron, 20, scored 37 goals in the OHL this season. Filler, 20, was a 20-goal scorer in the QMJHL. Kidd, a 20-year-old defenseman, played 33 games for Manchester last season. Rowat, a 19-year-old goalie, had a 3.07 goals-against average in the WHL and then played two games for the ECHL's Ontario Reign. While these four players might latch on with another team, they have a long road to the NHL and can be ignored in all Fantasy formats.
