04/06/2013 19:22 Kings top Oilers, keep pace for No. 4 seed
Jeff Carter had a goal and an assist, Jonathan Quick made 23 saves, and the Los Angeles Kings kept moving forward in the Western Conference playoff race with a 4-1 victory over the Edmonton Oilers on Saturday.
04/04/2013 01:42 Hall's five-point night fuels Oilers' smothering of Flames
Taylor Hall had a goal and four assists in helping the Edmonton Oilers win their fifth straight with an 8-2 rout of the reeling Calgary Flames on Wednesday night.
Sam Gagner has been pushed to the second line with the Oil's addition of so much top end talent. He can still be a useful player, but is no longer seen as someone to build a franchise around and his naem is often whispered in trade rumors. Gagner is still just 22 years of age and could start this year with 2012's top overall pick, Nail Yakupov, flanking him, but his upside seems to be that of a 20-goal scorer with only a small handful of those goals on the power play.
