Fantasy Analysis
He absolutely hammered the Blues' Andy McDonald, who has previously missed games due to concussion, right in the head along the boards; the hit was so hard it smashed McDonald's helmet, exposing the black foam inside. McDonald continued to play but was incensed, and the league may take the victim's history into consideration. (Updated 04/14/2012).

Logan Couture's power-play goal put his team in front late in the second period after T.J. Galiardi got the tying goal earlier in the period, and the San Jose Sharks beat the Dallas Stars 5-2 Tuesday in a matchup of teams fighting for one of the final Western Conference playoff spots.
Galiardi battled a number of injuries last season, including a broken wrist, which explains why he was limited to just 35 games (7G, 8A). Still, at 23 years old, Galiardi has the tools - speed, vision, hockey smarts - to evolve into a special player in the NHL. But the Avs can only hope that he stays away from the injury bug and turns in a season similar to the one he had in 2009-10, when he potted 15 goals and 24 assists in 70 games. (Updated 10/4/11)
