King Tallies Shorty For Kings
King scored his seventh goal of the year, a shorthanded tally, in Tuesday's win over the Lightning.King keeps on finding twine -- he's done so three times in his last five games as he's continued to surprise the Kings as well as fantasy players. He's already set a new career high in goals, such as it is, and should easily eclipse his career high of 14 points as the season goes on; he's tallied nine thus far.
|Dwight King helped spark the Kings to the Stanley Cup in their run in 2012, but struggled to get on track for much of the season last year and finished with just 10 points in 47 games. He should enter camp with the inside track on a bottom-six role, but that's likely his upside. (Updated 8/12/13) |
