Fantasy Analysis
The Jets acquired Brett MacLean by claiming him off waivers from the Coyotes in early October, but apparently Phoenix was not ready to let him go. Don't be surprised if MacLean stays on the Coyotes' roster for a while in an effort to keep him in the organization. (Updated 10/29/2011).
10/09/2011 20:09 Canadiens give Jets rude welcome back to NHL
The NHL returned to Winnipeg with a cold reminder of the challenge that lies ahead. Carey Price stopped 30 shots and the Montreal Canadiens put a damper on a massive civic celebration with a 5-1 victory over the Jets on Sunday.
MacLean will enter training camp with a chance to stick on the big club's roster in 2011-12. He spent 13 games with the Coyotes last season, notching two goals and one assist. In three seasons at the AHL level, MacLean did not fall below 40 points once, tallying as many as 65 in 76 games.
