Fantasy Analysis
Alexander Sulzer only scored nine points on the season, which didn't exactly create many ripples in the fantasy community. Still, he helped to stabilize the Buffalo blue line after being acquired before the trade deadline and could be ticketed for a bigger role next season. (Updated 05/21/2012).
Sulzer is a fringe NHLer who spent time with Florida and Nashville during the 2010-11 season, totaling five points (1 G, 4 A) in 30 appearances. The German defenseman was signed to a two-way deal by Vancouver this summer to give the team added depth on the blue line. He's considered a long shot to play a significant role with the Canucks.
