Karl Alzner called the play beforehand, telling his offense "if the puck was in the circle, bump it back, if it's out of the circle, leave it." His plan worked and the 24-year old's shot found twine. Alzner had just two goals combined in his last two full seasons. Tuesday was a positive step forward but fantasy owners will want to limit their expectations until they see more from the defenseman.
