A season-long member of head coach John Tortorella's dog house, Brian Boyle's goal helped snap an abysmal 0-for-23 streak for the Blueshirts. It also snapped a five game point scoring drought for the veteran center. (Updated 5/24/13).

05/23/2013 22:08 Kreider keeps Rangers' season alive with overtime goal
Chris Kreider steered in a pass from Rick Nash 7:03 into overtime, and the New York Rangers stayed alive in the Stanley Cup playoffs with a 4-3 victory over the Boston Bruins on Thursday night.
While he's not the team's flashiest players, Brian Boyle has made a name for himself on this Rangers' squad after playing all 82 games the past two seasons. The gritty 27-year-old will likely center the Blueshirts' fourth line and look to return to the 20-goal plateau that he reached in 2010-2011. His totals of 11 goals and 15 assists last season won't help owners in anything but the deepest of leagues, but the former first-round pick has the potential to provide some value if he can manage to improve upon his 15 minutes of ice time per-game from last season.
