Fantasy Analysis
Brian Boyle also took a penalty late in the game that did not sit well with Rangers' coach John Tortorella, but the penalty was killed off. Since being a healthy scratch in Game 1, Boyle has two goals and an assist in four games and is one of the team's more important two-way players. (Updated 5/10/13).
05/10/2013 22:51 Capitals prevail in overtime, up 3-2 over Rangers
Mike Ribeiro scored 9:24 into overtime, and the Washington Capitals beat the New York Rangers 2-1 Friday night to regain the momentum -- and the lead -- in their first-round playoff series.
While he's not the team's flashiest players, Brian Boyle has made a name for himself on this Rangers' squad after playing all 82 games the past two seasons. The gritty 27-year-old will likely center the Blueshirts' fourth line and look to return to the 20-goal plateau that he reached in 2010-2011. His totals of 11 goals and 15 assists last season won't help owners in anything but the deepest of leagues, but the former first-round pick has the potential to provide some value if he can manage to improve upon his 15 minutes of ice time per-game from last season.
