Stillman replaces Frolik on top line: The South Florida Sun Sentinel reports that Panthers coach Pete DeBoer has replaced RW Michael Frolik on the top line with veteran C Cory Stillman.

| Fantasy Analysis |
Frolik hasn't scored since Jan. 13, but he's not the only Panther who has been struggling to put the biscuit in the basket lately. Frolik has shown flashes of potential in his young career, but is still too inconsistent to use outside of deeper Fantasy leagues right now. Stillman has also had a few good offensive spurts this campaign, but also is only worth worrying about in larger formats.

| Panthers C Michael Frolik had a very respectable rookie campaign. Last year, Frolik scored 21 goals and had 24 assists to go along with a plus-minus rating of 10. Expect even more from Frolik in his sophomore campaign as he figures to be an even more integral part of the Panthers’ offense. The addition of veteran Steven Reinprecht to the team could also help Frolik put up bigger numbers in 2009-10. Frolik is a nice sleeper option but until he can put up significantly more points he is only a low-end Fantasy forward on Draft Day. (Updated 8/18/09) |
