Jonathan Toews was runner-up to Vancouver's Ryan Kesler for the award in 2011. While defense is on Toews' mind, the Blackhawks would like to get his offense going. Toews only had two assists in Round 1 against the Wild and that came in the last game of the series. He's close to a point-per-game pace in the postseason during his career with 17 goals and 35 assists in 57 playoff contests entering Game 1 against the Red Wings in the Western Conference semifinals. Jonathan Toews will be looking to rebound this season after injuries hurt him during his 2011-12 campaign. A concussion limited him to just 59 games last year, but he was in the middle of a goal-scoring outburst when he went down and still finished the season with 29. We are a bit concerned by the concussions -- that wasn't his first. But there is no doubt that if he stays away from injuries, he rebound to his usual dominating self. And that's a guarantee of 30 goals, as many points as games, great plus-minus and power-play production. (Updated 8/14/12)
