Derek Smith was injured March 20 when he took a puck to the face and missed the rest of the season. Smith has said he still isn't feeling well and is taking it day by day, but has a lot of time to recover before next season starts. Hopefully the summer off will help out Smith, as he is a young defenseman bursting with potential. (Updated 04/11/2012).
