Fantasy Analysis
Byron Bitz has skated with the Canucks' top six in the past two games, totaling three points (1 G, 2 A) over that stretch. The 27-year-old winger isn't known for his scoring prowess, but he's worth a speculative add in deep leagues while skating with elite players like Daniel and Henrik Sedin. (Updated 02/10/2012).

Alex Edler scored in the sixth round of a shootout, and the Vancouver Canucks beat the Nashville Predators 4-3 Tuesday night for their fifth win in six games.

Kevin Bieksa tied the game with 34.1 seconds remaining in regulation and Mason Raymond scored the lone goal in the shootout as the Vancouver Canucks rallied for a 3-2 win over the struggling Colorado Avalanche on Saturday.
Bitz missed the entire 2010-11 season after suffering a sport hernia in training camp. The Canucks still decided to take a chance on the 27-year-old by inking him to a two-way deal this summer. He could provide the Canucks with a much-needed physical presence with his large frame (6-foot-5, 215 pounds), but Bitz doesn't offer the necessary point production to make much of a fantasy impact.
