Winnipeg's Enstrom Snaps Points Drought: Tobias Enstrom tallied his first points in seven games Thursday night with a goal and an assist against the Islanders, bringing him to 32 on the season. Fantasy Analysis
Tobias Enstrom owners may not have gotten the offensive production they expected this year from the 27 year-old Swede given his prior two seasons in Atlanta, but it would be hard to argue that the 2003 draft selection regressed in any significant way this year. A broken collar bone forced Enstrom to miss a full quarter of the season, and #39 will finish the campaign with a positive plus/minus for just the second time in his career. (Updated 04/05/2012).
03/23/2012 23:46 Jets storm back to beat Capitals
Tim Stapleton scored 2:37 into overtime, and the Winnipeg Jets rallied from three goals down and kept themselves in the playoff hunt with a 4-3 victory over the rope-a-dope Washington Capitals on Friday night.
03/16/2012 23:45 Byfuglien's goal lifts Jets over Capitals
Dustin Byfuglien crashed the net and scored the go-ahead goal in the third period as the Winnipeg Jets defeated the Washington Capitals 3-2 on Friday.
Enstrom finished last season tied for fifth in the league in points among defensemen (10 goals, 41 assists for 51 points in 72 games). He's a great quarterback for a Jets power play that is loaded with young talent. There is no reason to think he'll slow down this year and he could top 60 points if he plays a full 82 games.
