Fantasy Analysis
They must be; Matt Hunwick played his seventh consecutive game Tuesday against Minnesota, the first time he's played that many games in a row all season. He's also notched two goals over that stretch, along with a combined plus-4 rating. It will probably take one or two bad games in a row for Hunwick to get swapped out of the lineup at this point - play him if you own him. (Updated 03/09/2012).

03/03/2012 23:45 Penguins win season-high five straight
Marc-Andre Fleury stopped 35 shots, Steve Sullivan had a goal and an assist and the streaking Pittsburgh Penguins beat the Colorado Avalanche 5-1 on Saturday night.
Hunwick, who re-signed a one-year deal with the Avalanche in June, had a mediocre first season in Colorado last year, recording just 10 assists in 51 games along with a minus-19 rating. The Avs are clearly intent on allowing Hunwick to prove himself, considering they gave up a prized prospect (defenseman Colby Cohen) to get him from the Bruins. Furthermore, with the departure of John-Michael Liles, there may be an opportunity for Hunwick to play a larger role on the Avs' blue line this season. In short, he could wind up being one of the team's top four blueliners, but he's really going to have to work on his play in his own zone to earn that role. (Updated 8/16/11)
