Fantasy Analysis
John Scott was a surprise game-time activation (at the expense of John Mitchell), due to the Rangers expecting a more physical matchup with the Devils. The Rangers' recent acquisition didn't disappoint, as he dropped his gloves 12 minutes into the first period for a scuffle with Cam Janssen. Scott will likely be a game-time scratch more often than not, but he will keep himself relevant in fantasy leagues that count penalty minutes on the days that he can manage to fight his way into the lineup.
