Isles rally to top Kinkaid and Devils 3-2 in SO
UNIONDALE, N.Y. (AP) One thing is clear through two months of the NHL season. If you're going to beat the New York Islanders, you'd better get them in regulation.
|Kyle Okposo was nothing short of fantastic last season with 27 goals and 69 points, the best season so far of his career. What makes these numbers even more impressive is that the Islanders lost John Tavares for the season due to a knee injury during the Olympics - and that didn't even slow him down. Fantasy owners are bound to wonder what Okposo can do playing a full season with Tavares. Is a 30+ goal season out of the question? No, the Islanders have their issues but scoring shouldn't be one of them. Okposo will be relied upon to take some of the pressure off of Tavares. He will more than likely be a top 20 winger come draft time. (Updated 8/13/14) |
