Fantasy Analysis
The goal wasn't pretty, as Kyle Okposo banked a shot off of Marc-Andre Fleury from behind the net, but it still counts. He's having a great postseason so far, which really has to make you wonder where this kind of spirited play has been all year. (Updated 5/7/13).
05/07/2013 21:53 Islanders even series against Pens on Tavares' late goal
John Tavares scored his second goal of the game with 9:49 left, and the New York Islanders tied their first-round series with the Pittsburgh Penguins on Tuesday night with a wild 6-4 victory.
05/05/2013 15:38 Penguins rebound, beat Isles in OT to regain home ice
Chris Kunitz scored his second power-play goal of the game 8:34 into overtime, off a pass from Sidney Crosby, and the Pittsburgh Penguins shook off an early deficit and a late blown lead to beat the New York Islanders 5-4 on Sunday in Game 3 of the first-round series.
After essentially missing all of the 2010-11 season due to injury, Kyle Okposo came back to have his best season in the NHL with 24 goals and 45 points. The production did come at a price however as his plus-minus took a beating. Okposo is a solid player who is more than likely ticketed for second line duty once again. This could be a good thing as he can relax and play his game rather than try to live up to the expectations of being a first round pick and playing on the top line, as it's starting to look like he might not be suited for that role.
