Flames' McGrattan Back At Practice
McGrattan (general soreness) was back practicing Friday, Randy Sportak of the Calgary Sun reports.McGrattan sat out of Thursday's session after he was still feeling sore following Wednesday's game, but it seems like he's feeling a little better now. Even so, he wasn't skating on a line during Friday's session and looks doubtful to play against the Avalanche.
Flames' McGrattan Banged Up
McGrattan missed Thursday's practice after coach Bob Hartley said the winger was "banged up" following Wednesday's win over the Coyotes, Pat Steinberg of Sportsnet 960 The Fan reports.Hartley suggested the day off was for maintenance purposes more than anything, so he doesn't really seem in danger of missing the team's next game Friday. McGrattan offers most of his utility in the penalty box, as he's racked up 29 PIM in 25 games compared to just one offensive point.
