Fantasy Analysis
Daniel Sedin said he felt good in his return and should be safe to deploy in your playoff pools going forward. If the Canucks can come back from down 3-0 to advance, Sedin will end up being one of the bigger steals in playoff pools this year. (Updated 04/19/2012).
04/16/2012 01:25 Kings blank Canucks in Game 3, up 3-0
Jonathan Quick made 41 saves, Dustin Brown scored on a long rebound with 13:30 to play, and the eighth-seeded Los Angeles Kings pushed the Vancouver Canucks to the brink of elimination with a 1-0 victory in Game 3 on Sunday night.
One year after watching his brother Henrik Sedin take home the Hart Trophy, Daniel put together an MVP-caliber season of his own, finishing first in the NHL in scoring with 104 points (41 G, 63 A). He lost out on winning a Hart Trophy of his own, but Sedin still managed to earn fantasy MVP for most squads that were smart enough to draft him last year. At 31 years old, he is in the prime of his career and should once again lead the CanucksÂ’ offensive attack alongside his twin brother. (Updated 10/4/11)
