Rafalski not shooting much: After putting up five points in six games during a mid-January run, Red Wings D Brian Rafalski has now gone three straight games without a point and has just one shot in each of his last four games.

| Fantasy Analysis |
Despite his struggles this season, Rafalski is still featuring heavily on the Detroit power play. However, his lack of shot attempts lead us to believe he's either not being aggressive enough or his role has changed a bit. Still, he remains a solid start in all Fantasy formats for the time being.

| It has been amazing to watch Brian Rafalski's evolution since arriving in Detroit in 2007-08. Already an elite defenseman during his first seven seasons with the New Jersey Devils, Rafalski has gotten even better since coming to Motown and playing alongside one of the greats in Nicklas Lidstrom. Rafalski set a career-high with 13 goals in '07-08 and followed that up with a career-high 59 points in 2008-09. He also tied Lidstrom for the most points from a Detroit blueliner. Rafalski has been plus-44 in 151 regular-season games with the Red Wings and has 91 assists as well, including a career-high 49 last season. Rafalski still hasn't finished a season below even in his first nine years and has 55 or more points for three straight seasons. Continue to draft the Michigan native in all Fantasy formats.
