Tikhonov hasn't had much NHL relevance since he played 61 games for the Coyotes in 2008-09, though the winger tallied just 16 points over that span. The former first-round pick has fared a bit better in the AHL, notching 10 goals and 23 assists with a minus-13 rating in 60 games last season.
