Fantasy Analysis
He's managed to collect points in just three out of nine April games, but they've all been multi-point efforts. Jamie Benn's also on a less-inspiring streak at the face-off dot -- he's lost more than he's won in four consecutive games and seven of eight. (Updated 4/18/13).
04/26/2013 02:10 Blue Jackets top Stars to stay in playoff race
Cam Atkinson scored two goals and Sergei Bobrovsky made 32 saves and the Columbus Blue Jackets stayed alive in the Western Conference playoff race with a 3-1 victory over the Dallas Stars on Thursday.
04/15/2013 23:32 Blackhawks cool off Stars, push points streak to nine
Chicago's Andrew Shaw, Niklas Hjalmarsson and Marian Hossa scored in the third period after Dallas rallied to tie it, and the Blackhawks went on to beat the Stars 5-2 on Monday night for their sixth consecutive victory.
Jamie Benn built upon his impressive sophomore season, setting career highs across the board last year. He also took on added responsbility in the defensive zone as the season waned and Mike Ribiero proved to be a liability in that area. The (essentially) Ribeiro-for-Derek Roy offseason swap will afford Benn more minutes in the offensive zone than last year. He's far and away Dallas' best one-on-one threat and his emergence among the NHL elite figures to continue in 2012-13. (Updated 8/14/12)
