Fantasy Analysis
Despite an occasional hiccup, Chris Butler has actually had a decent year for the Flames, with two goals and nine assists in 47 games. Most importantly, he has been able to stay off of the ever-expanding injury list for Calgary, playing in every game so far. (Updated 01/18/2012).
A recent arrival in Calgary as part of the Robyn Regehr trade, Butler will have a chance for a fresh start following a rough playoff campaign with the Sabres. He played in just 47 games last season with nine points and a plus-8 rating, but he did have 21 points in 59 contest two seasons ago. Odds are he won't light it up offensively and you're better off with a younger player with more upside. (Updated 10/4/11)
