Now with Winnipeg officially eliminated from playoff contention, it looks as though Patrice Cormier will spell an injured Kyle Wellwood down the stretch. (Updated 04/02/2012).
Cormier had just one goal and one assist in 21 games with the Thrashers last season. When he does make it to the NHL as a day to day starter, his biggest assets will come on the defensive side of the puck, as he exemplified throughout his junior career.
