Fantasy owners have been waiting for Myers to hit a rookie wall since we have seen many first-year skaters endure prolonged slumps. But Myers appears to be breaking the mold. He is setting new standards for first-year blueliners. The kid is already in the Sabres' top defensive pairing and has become a high-end Fantasy option only a few months into his hockey career.

Mason earns third shutout as Jackets blank Sabres
Steve Mason stopped 28 shots for his third shutout of the season, and Rick Nash and Raffi Torres scored against the NHL's top penalty-killing team, leading the Columbus Blue Jackets past the Buffalo Sabres, 4-0 on Saturday night.

Crosby's second-period hat trick helps Pens rally past Sabres
Sidney Crosby scored three goals in slightly more than eight minutes of the second period as the Pittsburgh Penguins quickly turned a two-goal deficit into a two-goal lead, then held on to beat the Buffalo Sabres 5-4 on Monday night.
