Fantasy Analysis
Typical ACL reconstructions mean a guy is out for four-to-six months. And he'll re-gain full strength in nine months to just over a year. He won't be back until training camp at the very earliest. (Updated 01/25/2012).
03/02/2011 21:36 Kovalchuk nets winner, Devils continue playoff push
Ilya Kovalchuk scored his fifth winning goal in the last 11 games and the New Jersey Devils continued their amazing playoff push with a 2-1 victory over the Tampa Bay Lightning on Wednesday.
Tyrell isn't the biggest guy (5-10, 185) but his speed, work ethic and willingness to forecheck earned him a full season with the Bolts as a 21-year-old rookie last year. His numbers weren't outstanding (six goals, nine assists in 78 games) but he should someday become a Chris Kunitz-like complementary winger for the Bolts. It just won't happen for a few years.
