Stefan Elliott's last game was a 4-2 loss to Nashville on Mar. 8. Perhaps not coincidentally, he registered a minus-3 in that game and has not played since. Furthermore, the Avs have since gone on to win four of their last five games, so the chances of Elliott cracking the lineup anytime soon are slim, as coach Joe Sacco typically does not like to tinker with a winning lineup. Elliott has a great future ahead of him as an offensive defenseman, but for now it looks like he will have to bide his time riding the bench. (Updated 03/20/2012).
