Fantasy Analysis
John Moore, who is playing in his first career playoff series, has held strong and now has his first career point to show for it. Moore is definitely an interesting riser for next season's draft and should be earning looks in keeper leagues already. (Updated 5/13/13).
04/03/2013 18:16 NHL trade deadline winners and losers
Because it's an instant analysis world and we don't have the patience to let everything play out over several years, let's take a look at some of the winners and losers from the trade deadline season.
04/03/2013 14:51 Marian Gaborik traded to Blue Jackets in deadline surprise
Marian Gaborik was traded from the New York Rangers to the Columbus Blue Jackets in exchange for Derick Brassard, Derek Dorsett, John Moore and a sixth-round pick.
John Moore's first full season in the NHL went about as well as you could expect from a rookie playing on the worst team in the league, which is to say he produced no almost offense and was a minus-23 in 67 games. His offensive fortunes aren't likely to change much over the next couple of years as Jack Johnson, James Wisniewski and Fedor Tyutin will hog most of the power play time. As he starts adapting better to the speed of the pro game, Moore's slick skating and passing ability should quickly make him a key component on Columbus's blue line. (Updated 8/14/12)
