Fantasy Analysis
He hasn't ruled out playing Saturday in the season finale, however. "I just have to be able to tolerate (the pain)," John Moore said. He's an important part of the Blue Jackets' future on the blue line, so don't expect the club to take any chances with him in a meaningless game. (Updated 04/06/2012).
03/20/2012 21:41 Blackhawks sweep series from Jackets
Patrick Sharp scored two goals, Duncan Keith had four assists and Corey Crawford made 24 saves as the Chicago Blackhawks beat the Columbus Blue Jackets 5-1 on Tuesday to sweep the season series.
03/08/2012 21:47 Jackets' Johnson scores against ex-team
Mark Letestu scored twice and Jack Johnson had a goal against his former teammates to lead the Columbus Blue Jackets to their fourth straight win Thursday, a 3-1 victory that ended the Los Angeles Kings' three-game winning streak.
Moore's first season as a pro wasn't what the Blue Jackets were hoping from their top pick in 2009, as his offensive production (24 points in 73 games) and -27 plus-minus rating in the AHL were both well below what he's capable of. Moore still has a lot to learn, but his speed and skill mark him as a potential future impact player. That future is just a little farther off than Columbus was hoping. (Updated 8/16/11)
