It's too bad that most leagues don't count shootout goals as a separate category. Dmitry Kulikov got off to a hot start at the beginning of this season and could do the same after a solid rest after knee surgery. It's just a hunch but he could be out there on the wire. (Updated 03/17/2012).

Kulikov took another step forward in his development, posting career highs in goals (6), assists (20) and points (26). Still only 20 years old, Kulikov has major breakout potential considering an increased opportunity to rack up assists as a result of the Panthers' offseason shopping spree.
