Hall Sparks Oil: Taylor Hall grabbed a goal and two assists in Friday's win over Minnesota, giving him five points in the last five games. (Updated 4/27/13)

Taylor Hall has established himself as one of the NHL's elite young talents and he'll finish the truncated season above as a point-per-game guy as he sits with 48 in 44 games heading into Saturday's finale. Don't overpay for him next fall, but you will have to pull the trigger on him early if you'd like his services. Hall and the Oilers can only get better, right? (Updated 4/27/13).
04/26/2013 22:56 Oilers rout Minnesota, keep Wild from clinching
Corey Potter and Nail Yakupov both scored two goals, and the Edmonton Oilers prevented the Minnesota Wild from clinching a spot in the Western Conference playoffs with a 6-1 rout on Friday night.
04/21/2013 23:42 Ducks beat Oilers, on brink of clinching Pacific
Cam Fowler, Kyle Palmieri and Corey Perry scored to help put the Anaheim Ducks on the brink of clinching the Pacific Division with a 3-1 victory over the Edmonton Oilers in Sunday night.
Taylor Hall is one of the Oilers' best young players. He has scored 49 goals and added 46 assists in his first two NHL seasons. The only negative that can be attributed to him is that he has not been able to stay healthy in either season. Hall missed 17 games in his rookie campaign with an ankle injury and than missed another 21 games last season with a shoulder injury. The shoulder should be 100 percent by the time camp opens in September. And with the talent around him -- and if he can remain healthy -- a 30+ goal season should easily be within his reach.
