04/05/2013 01:45 Schneider shut out Oilers; Canucks take back NW lead
Cory Schneider made 23 saves and Henrik Sedin had a goal and an assist for Vancouver in a 4-0 victory over the Edmonton Oilers on Thursday night that moved the Canucks past Minnesota for first in the Northwest Division.
Jeff Petry is a solid defenseman who played on the Oilers' top pairing last season. He scored two goals and added 23 assists, but his future is more of a top four d-man. He's good in his own zone, but lacks true offensive upside to be given big power play minutes. Expect about 30 points and 100 each of hits and blocked shots. (Updated 8/14/12)
