Fantasy Analysis
With James Reimer still banged up, Jussi Rynnas was recalled Thursday after being sent down Wednesday, and when Jonas Gustavsson was hurt in warmups, the Finn suddenly found himself making his first NHL start. The undrafted netminder has, however, been solid in AHL action over the last two seasons, posting a .911 GAA in 49 total games, so don't just write him off. (Updated 03/29/2012).

Rynnas has the twinetending superfecta -- big, athletic, quick feet and Finnish. And it's that combination that's going to have him pushing for an NHL job in a couple of years. He was foiled last season by a broken finger in the second half last season and upstart goalie Ben Scrivens' strong play in his place kept Rynnas on the bench even after the latter returned from the IR. We're got saying he's going to be the next Pekka Rinne. But he and Ben Scrivens will battle it out for time in the AHL and one of the two could end up as the back-up in Toronto by the end of this season or next. (Updated 8/16/11)
