Fantasy Analysis
There exist high hopes for the young Alex Burmistrov in Winnipeg's front office, meaning he will get plenty of looks so long as he wears a Jets uniform. Though his production is streaky to say the least, there is more than a little potential here. (Updated 02/27/2012).
02/27/2012 23:24 Oilers score four in third period to win
Lennart Petrell and Taylor Hall both had a goal and an assist as the Edmonton Oilers scored four times in the third period to beat the Winnipeg Jets 5-3 on Monday night.
Burmistrov managed just six goals and 14 assists for 20 points in his rookie season last year. He was selected eighth overall in the 2010 entry draft and he has a ton of talent. He'll definitely improve on his goal and assist totals this coming season, but he's still probably another full year or two away from being a breakout star. Burmistrov is a late round sleeper pick at best this year. (Updated 10/4/11)
