03/07/2013 21:55 Rangers offense awakens in time to beat Islanders in OT
Marian Gaborik scored a power-play goal 42 seconds into overtime, and the New York Rangers rallied for a 2-1 victory against the New York Islanders on Thursday night.
David Ullstrom had four goals and eight points in 29 games for the Isles last season. He didn't do too much to make him stand out as offensive talent, as he was used mostly in checking situations. He will need a strong camp to make the team this year as the Islanders are loaded with checking forwards. Ullstrom, however, does play well in his own zone but won't see many top-six minutes.
