Fantasy Analysis
Blackhawks coach Joel Quenneville is toying with the lines and has used recently acquired Michael Handzus at center. Quenneville, however, said that he might use Handzus at right wing. Marcus Kruger's numbers are down - especially in goals - compared to his rookie season. He has three goals and eight assists in 36 games this season. In 2011-12, Kruger compiled nine goals and 17 assists in 71 games. (Updated 4/6/13).
01/22/2013 23:20 Blackhawks win home opener to move to 3-0
Patrick Kane, Brent Seabrook and Viktor Stalberg scored to back Corey Crawford, and the Chicago Blackhawks hung on to beat the St. Louis Blues 3-2 on Tuesday night.
Marcus Kruger's first full season was pretty impressive -- nine goals and 17 assists in 71 games -- for a 21-year-old rookie center from overseas with just seven previous NHL games under his belt. This elite playmaker has a high hockey IQ and great two-way skills, and he should take another step in his progress this year. (Updated 8/14/12)
