New York Islanders forward Frans Nielsen has been knocked out of the game against the New York Rangers by a head injury, resulting from a hit into the boards, and won't return.
McCabe has yet to find a home for the 2010-11 season as of press time. A consistent offensive player throughout his career with slight issues in his own end, the journeyman blue liner likely has some spark left in his game, although he won't light up the scoresheet anymore. In 67 games between the Rangers and Florida, McCabe notched 28 points. Wherever he lands this season, expect him to contribute offensively and is worth a look in deeper leagues. (Updated 10/4/11)
